XP Power Launches Wall Plug AC-DC Power Supply with Enhanced Home Healthcare Design

     XP Power officially announced the launch of three new wall plug IP22 power series, which has brought significant benefits to the rapidly growing home healthcare market. These products are suitable for a variety of cost sensitive industrial and medical applications, while maintaining industry-leading performance.

     More and more patient monitoring is carried out at home or in the workplace to facilitate or reduce the pressure of hospitals. These new products are specifically designed to operate at 80VAC to allow transmission line loss at remote non hospital locations while maintaining reliable DC output.
The AMF series wall plug adapter power supply provides 18W (AMF18), 24W (AMF24) and 36W (AMF36) power levels. The single output covers all common voltages between 5.0V and 48.0V, allowing R&D personnel to select ideal equipment for various applications.

     All AMF products fully comply with various medical, home medical and IT security standards, including EN55,011, IEC60,601 and UL 62,368. Since this product is an adapter power supply, the design of any device is greatly simplified, and the time, cost and risk associated with obtaining safety standards are eliminated.

     As a Class II product, this series can operate safely in an environment where the grounding safety integrity is unknown. The sealing grade of the product is IP22, which allows cleaning and/or disinfection of the power supply to reduce the risk of electric shock. The AMF power supply series provides 2 x MOPP (patient protection mode) to ensure the safety of end users in case of power related problems. In addition, the leakage current of the product is less than 50  A, allowing safe operation when the applied parts may be connected to the patient.

     All AMF power supply series can operate in the ultra wide input voltage range of 80 to 264VAC, allowing global operation, and providing additional margin for areas where voltage may fluctuate. Each product comes with a series of interchangeable AC connectors, so that the power supply (and any related medical equipment) can be used worldwide.
