XP Power active Surge protection filter module meets the load unloading requirements of DEF STAN 61-5 Version 6

     The DSF226 EMC filter and surge protection module are designed for 28V DC input defense applications. The PCB mounting module is housed in a six-sided metal housing and is capable of supporting up to 200 watts of output power to drive downstream DC-DC converters.

     The DSF226 meets the load rejection requirements of DEF STAN 61-5 Part 6 Phase 6 and complies with the internationally recognized immunity and emission standards MIL-STD 1275A-D, DEF STAN 59-411 and MIL-STD 461C. The unit provides active surge protection, allowing full output power over the entire 15-33 VDC voltage range to accommodate transient dips to 10 volts DC for 1s. The module output tracks the input voltage and is clamped in < 36 volts direct current.

     The DSF226 operates in a temperature range from -46°C to +100°C and provides a heat warning output to control the final application or disable the filter output. The DSF226 filter and surge protection modules are ideal for use in combination with XP Power's MTC Series military specification DC/DC converters, QSB and ICH series power bricks. The DSF226 can also be combined with XP Power's J-Series 24v4:1 input converter for multi-output COTS defense applications.
