XP Power introduces a 3kW AC-DC power supply that provides 150 to 800VDC voltage and current programming

     XP Power officially announced the launch of single-phase input 3kW AC-DC power supply HDL3000-HV series, output voltage from 150V to 400VDC, through the series up to 800VDC. All models feature output voltage and current regulation, ranging from 0 to 105%, using analog (via voltage or resistance) or digital (I2C, RS485 and RS232) interfaces, enabling users to optimize and customize power solutions for their applications.

     With constant voltage and constant current operation, the HDL3000-HV series is suitable for applications requiring higher supply voltages, including battery test and simulation systems, test and combustion equipment, laser systems, LED curing, lighting and heating, electrolysis, motor drives, and cathodic protection.

     The product is available in five output voltage versions: 150V, 200V, 250V, 300V and 400V, each with a customer choice of 5V/0.5A or 9V/0.3A backup output. In addition to the output programming function, the output can be fine-tuned within the ±5% range. For applications requiring higher currents, up to eight models can be connected in parallel, with active current sharing and a built-in O-diode, simplifying interconnection.

     Fully insulated I2C, RS485 and RS232 interfaces provide remote control and monitoring, and LED indicators provide visual indications of DC OK, output not enabled, overvoltage, overload, overtemperature, fan failure and auxiliary standby status. A GUI and complete user manual are available to support system development.

     The HDL3000-HV series operates from 90V to 264VAC. When the operating voltage is lower than 180VAC (low line), the maximum output power is 2000W; When the voltage is between 180VAC and 264VAC (high line), the maximum output power is 3000W; At full 230VAC operation, the product efficiency is up to 92%.

     Measuring 170.0mm x 64.0mm x 301.49mm, this ultra-compact product is cooled by forced air flow with an integrated variable speed fan. Operating temperature between -20°C and +60°C, maximum temperature +50°C at full load, linear derating to 50% load at +60°C.

     The HDL3000-HV series has passed the IEC/UL/EN 62368-1 safety certification required for AV/ICT equipment. The product also complies with EN 55032 Class A for conduction and radiation, and with EN 61000-3-2 harmonics and EN 61000-4-2 immunity standards. All models come with a 3-year warranty.
