XP Power introduces two new ultra-thin, bare version power supplies

     XP Power announced the launch of two new ultra-thin, bare-version power supplies that address the need for low-cost 40W and 60W power solutions for a wide range of medical, home and communications/industrial applications. Most markets today are under price pressure; The new FCS40 and FCS60 combine low unit costs with an easily integrated multi-terminal equipment market that meets this need through international body approval, efficiency and low emissions. This is further supported by an ultra-wide operating temperature (-25 ° C to +70 ° C), which allows the product to be used in a variety of environments.

     The new FCS40&60 series offers a single output of 12, 15, 18, 24, 36 or 48V with an efficiency of up to 86%, depending on the model. Onboard potentiometers allow voltage adjustment to ±10%, which optimizes the voltage to meet specific load requirements or voltage drops.

     Both the FCS40 and FCS60 comply with a range of safety standards, which can effectively save time for developers to pass safety standards for terminal equipment. For medical applications, the product meets IEC/EN/ES60601 safety standards required for 2 x Patient Protection (MOPP). The product also includes two line input fuses for Class II applications and for medical applications in home healthcare environments.

     For communication and industrial applications, the product complies with IEC60950-1 and IEC/EN/CUL62368-1 safety standards and meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive (LVD). Compliance with the IEC60335-1 safety standard makes the FCS40 and FCS60 suitable for home applications.

     As a member of XP Power's "Green Power" family, this new product reduces no-load power loss to below 0.3W, helping to meet the latest environmental regulations. With natural convection cooling up to +70 ° C, the product meets the need to avoid the use of fans in the end equipment, thereby saving energy, cost and product weight, and improving system reliability.
