XP Power provides EMI filters to help customers meet EMC emission and immunity standards

     XP Power's series of case mounts and IEC entry EMI filters meet the requirements for equipment to meet the latest EMC emission and immunity standards. The filter is suitable for any electrical or electronic device powered by a single phase AC power supply.

     Primarily aimed at medical and IT equipment manufacturers, models FASA/M, FCSS, FDMM, FFSA and FGSM are IEC power inputs with integrating filters, and models FHSA/M and FIHA/M are chassis mounted filters. Demonstrating versatility, FFSA and FGSM units also feature input switches. The series includes many variants to meet a variety of end-user needs and greatly contributes to OEM customers' time savings when incorporating units into host equipment.

     The filter's shielding metal body reduces radiation emissions within devices, and the medical version features a low, 5μ-creepage at 250 V (AC) for rigorous medical applications. The range includes current ratings from 1 A to 20 A versions, and two-stage, chassis mounted versions are also available to provide greater attenuation levels than standard.

     To save customer manufacturing costs, compact combined versions with single or double fuse holders or fuse holders and switches reduce the amount of wiring and panel cutting required. All models feature bleeding resistors and Faston terminals.
