Xilinx Launches Kria Adaptive System-on-Module Portfolio to Accelerate Innovation and AI Applications at the Edge

     Xilinx Corporation today announced the Kria Adaptive System-on-Module (SOM) portfolio, a volume-ready, small form-factor embedded board for rapid deployment in edge-based applications. Featuring a complete software stack and pre-built production-grade accelerated applications, Kria Adaptive SOM is a new way to bring adaptive computing power to AI and software developers.

     The first product in the Kria SOM portfolio is the Kria K26 SOM, which is purpose-built for visual AI applications in smart cities and smart factories. The Xilinx SOM roadmap covers the full range of products, from cost-optimized SOMs for size- and cost-constrained applications to high-performance modules that provide developers with higher real-time computing power per watt.
