Analog Devices LTC3649 is a 60v, 4a synchronous monolithic step-down regulator. The regulator has a single resistance programmable output voltage, internal compensation, and high efficiency in a wide V (OUT) range. The LTC3649 has a peak current mode structure, allows fast transient response, and has inherent cycle cycle current limiting protection. It also has programmable output current limiting, current monitoring and input voltage regulating functions. The regulator has QFN and TSSOP packages. It is an ideal choice for industrial and automotive applications.

Analog Devices LTC3649 is a 60v, 4a synchronous monolithic step-down regulator. The regulator features a single resistance programmable output voltage, internal compensation, and high efficiency over a wide V(OUT) range.

The step-down regulator has an input voltage range of 3.1V to 60v and offers an adjustable rail-to-rail output range from (V(IN) -0.5V) to ground with an output current of up to 4a. Switching frequency can also be adjusted by external resistance. User-selectable mode input is provided to the user, allowing the user to trade ripple noise for efficiency under light load; Burst mode work provides the highest efficiency at light loads, while forced continuous mode provides low output ripple. Mode/Sync pins can also be used to allow the user to synchronize switching frequencies to an external clock.

The LTC3649 features a peak-current mode construction that allows for fast transient responses with inherent period-period current limitation protection. It also features programmable output current limiting, current monitoring and input voltage regulation. The regulator is available in QFN and TSSOP packages. The LTC3649 is ideal for industrial and automotive applications.
