u-blox NOL-W2 multi-radio module

     The u-blox NOL-W2 multi-radio module is a standalone module that integrates a 32-bit dual-core microcontroller unit (MCU) and a radio for wireless communication. The radio supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and BLUETOOTH® Low Power (LE) v5.0 in the 2.4GHz ISM band. Embedded AWS IoT ExpressLink compatible software includes a security certificate pre-embedded in the module.

     This allows the module to provide "out of the box" connectivity via Amazon Web Services (AWS). The NORA-W2 module also supports secure over-the-air (OTA) updates to the module firmware and host applications. A stateless AT command is used to control and communicate with a module through a serial interface.

     The NORA-W2 multi-radio module design uses secure startup to ensure that the module only starts in the presence of certified software. With its small size and embedded security features, the NORA-W2 is ideal for security focused critical iot applications. The module is industrial-grade and ISO 16750 compliant, ensuring operation in harsh professional environments.

     The NORA-W2 module supports an extended temperature range from -40 °C to +85°C, making it very user-friendly. Typical applications include consumer products, telematics, low-power sensors, networked factories, networked buildings (appliances and monitoring), points of sale, and health devices
